Microchannel Coil Conversion

MICRO CHANNEL COIL CONVERSIONUPGRADING TO COPPER TUBE CONDENSER COILS RTPF ( Round Tube Plate Fin )
A Wise Investment for Enhanced Efficiency
Microchannel Coil is a specialty coil designed originally based on automotive technology. It’s made of flat tubes and waved fins, both made of aluminium.
Although aluminium microchannel coils have better heat transfer, but have a high rate of failure, high rate of leaks, and are notoriously hard to fix. If an aluminium-made coil gets damaged or leak it is not possible to repair. The whole coil needs replacement.
MCHE coils are highly prone to leaks due to Galvanic corrosion at the flange joints and at tube area. The coils are highly unreliable and rendered inefficient due to multiple leaks.
In light of the above, it is obvious that the air cooled condenser coils greatly affect the efficiency of Air cooled chillers.
Copper has a higher heat transfer coefficient than aluminium, making copper a better choice for Air cooled condenser coils. Also it’s easy and economical to repair copper tube coils.
For a more reliable and efficient HVAC system, upgrade your all-aluminium microchannel (MCHE) coil to a copper tube, aluminium fin (RTPF) coil. Upgrading will make your air-cooled chiller more reliable and efficient.
